Yvonne Moroney gave a really inspiring and moving talk. She described how Carmha helped her become a trusted community leader who now helps others to recover. Previously her community were afraid of her and would not even say hello to her in the street.
After the event a briefing note was circulated to Oireachtas members explaining
- What is dual diagnosis
- What needs to change
- Taking action in the Oireachtas
- Helping constituents
